Hello from the Codfather Please find answers to a few questions commonly asked regarding my TOURS, (triking across Newfoundland on an ATV or Quad’s as they are referred to in Newfoundland) How to become included in the group? You’ve already taken the 1st Step in getting there and you would be going 1st Class all the way. (7 days on the trail)*Please remember that it’s 1st come 1st served so don’t miss out because someone can’t make up their mind. We will not live forever so enjoy life now that you have the chance. The cost of the trip is $1595.00 per person during 2009. (A deposit of $200.00 ASAP per person is required to guarantee your spot). A total of $795.00 must be paid in payments at least two months in advance ($595.00) and no one is stopping you from paying the full amount if wishing to do so. If you choose to pay your balance upon your arrival in North Sydney it must be by certified cheque or money order. What is included?
Additional Information and Re-cap: I meet you in North Sydney at a set time and location. I take over from there: Friday morning is spent getting our bikes ready, last minute shopping, parking our vehicle at a safe location, putting our bike in the line up, enjoying a great meal at Rollie’s and boarding the ferry to Argentia. We will spend 16 hours on the ferry but at least you’ll be sleeping for part of this. The 1st day (Saturday) on the trail is an easy exciting day while the 2nd day (Sunday) is a full day but great riding. The 3rd day (Monday) is a full day but we have the option of taking a short cut if need be and the 4th (Tuesday) is an easy day with the opportunity at the end of the day to do laundry. The 5th day (Wed.) we will be exploring the Goose Arm area, which certainly will be fun. The 6th day (Thursday.) is a very easy day with the 7th being a full day with great picture opportunities and I’m not saying that it’s the only day as every day is great. After arriving in Port aux Basques we will shower and then enjoy our final meal as a group and then proceed to the ferry terminal where due to a potato blight that they had they will wash down our bikes before getting into the line up to board the ferry. After a good nights sleep on the ferry we will disembark in North Sydney around 7.30 where we will re-unite with our vehicles, load up, say our goodbye’s and drive safely home. We always get in before supper unless we plan it otherwise. One of these days will be the day we cross the Gaff. To date, each group has experienced something different on the Topsails. You would have traveled about 975 km which 65% would be on the old railbed and the other 35% would be on trails that I’ve learnt over the years, which some of them were create by me as far back as 1993. After a date has been agreed upon and you’ve sent in your deposit, I will send you an itinerary and a list of items you should bring along to make your trip a little more pleasant and comfortable. Please make out cheque or money order out to “Roger D Cormier” or “Outatime Tours” and mail it to the address below. Thank You and Welcome Aboard!
